The Gillies are an Americana-Folk duo born in Norfolk and based in South East London. They describe themselves as “Music for your graveside”, why? Their songs are intense, dark, sad but real and intimate, Susan and Mark combine a tenor guitar and a steel strung Gibson with haunting vocals, into a sparce and dark musical style, likened to Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings. We are happy to perform unplugged in a small space, but would love a small pa in a larger space which would be 2 DI's 2 vocal mic's , but in the uk we could probably bring something if necessary ., Maybe somewhere to sleep if a long way from home. x
