My music

I genuinely love to play gigs. The styles are not wildly experimental but neither are the personalities generic! The characters of my songs are fictions, it's not a litany of literal statements about my daily life. It'b be nicer with a full band but I'll do my best for you with just acoustic guitar! Sometimes I can get an excellent fiddler or vocalist for a duo!

I need

It is sometimes possible to play without amplification but I have say it's much better with amps. When travelling I usually can only bring guitar, so would need a mic, mic-stand, amps, and music-stand. For example: Stagg AA20R for vocals and Fender FM25R for guitar, or your own speaker system may also be fine.

What can you offer to pay?

The lowest fee from Muggie Murphy for this type of event 100 € (includes tax and SofaConcert's commission, not including 2% booking fee for the secure payment). Hello and welcome back! After more than 5 years, thousands of concerts, and even more feedback from you, our community, we realized it's time to make some adjustments. The following changes apply to all concerts that are initiated after July 1st, 2020.

The major changes in one glance:

More transpareny via gross charges by SofaConcerts and new fee calculator tool
Adaption of variable service charge to 20% incl. VAT
Cancellation fees in case of cancellation by artists
Higher compensation for artists in case of cancellations by hosts

Fee Calculator

Example: The SofaConcert usage fees for a 100 € booking used to be 15,47 € (13% plus VAT). In the new terms, it will be 20 € (20% incl. VAT). The effective raise lies at 4,5% and we have raised the fee expectations accordingly so you will not have any disadvantages. We will continue to do without basic usage fees. Adjustment of cancellation periods for higher commitment

Concerts can always be postponed to a later date free of charge with mutual consent - even if the new date is not yet decided.

Live music and concerts - what is allowed?

You'd love to host a live concert again but are uncertain about what is currently legal? No matter what, you can always host your own live stream concert via video chat. As regulations allow, we recommend concerts outdoors - in backyards, from balconies, or with a small number of known guests. Artists are extremely happy about preformance opportunities and with a little caution and a bit of creativity you can create your own concert wile keeping everyone safe. Feel free to call us at +49-40-881-77500 or send an email for recommendations and advice.

Increase your chance of successful bookings by activating your Covid-19 Safety Badge. By clicking the button below you confirm that:

You are fully vaccinated and that the vaccination was completed more than 2 weeks ago or
you have recovered from Covid-19 (with a positive PCR-Test that is at least 28 days but not more than 6 months old) and/or
you have a negative fast test result, that is not more than 24 hours before the performance

You also signal to hosts who wish to book you that you're willing to discuss indivdual requests to assure the safety of the event (such as wearing a medical or FFP2 mask before the performance, using hand disinfection solution, etc..).
