My name is Emaline Delapaix and I am a Germany/UK based Australian singer songwriter who plays acoustic guitar, piano and celtic harp. Right now I am recovering from an auto immune illness and just starting to get back to touring which I am so grateful for. Some of my influences over the years have included Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone, Björk, Damien Rice, Neil Young as well as a lot of ethereal Scandinavian folk ...

I need

An open minded, friendly audience of 15 or more people who like music that is a bit more thoughtful and challenging reaching back to the songwriting tradition of strong female songwriters such as Tori Amos, Heather Nova, Ani Difranco, Paula Cole, Fiona Apple, and Sarah McLachlan as well as 60's and 70's music like Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Laura Nyro, Nick Drake, Kate Bush etc... If you have a real piano it's always lovely to play it :) A smoke free room to perform in. A private, clean place to sleep when available. We had a really beautiful concert with Emaline. She delighted the audience with her songs and stories. It's music to listen to. She is versatile, switching between guitar and piano accompaniment, and of course the sound is richer and more interesting when other instruments are involved. But that's difficult to organize for a crowd of 20 (aged 40). Emaline can captivate on her own as well, and one enjoys focusing on her voice and instrument.
