My music tells stories about the depth of human experience. They're relatable to everyone and that way I can connect with the audience on a deep and meaningful level.
I need
I need a friendly environment and welcoming hosts and we'll have a great time! For equipment, I do not need any equipment. I can do a full concert with my own equipment. I have a keyboard, guitar, piano, speaker, and all necessary things to plug into. However, if your house is really big then it is good if you have speakers for me so we can make it louder.

Great concert with Charles. Nice and calm fellow. We and the guests loved listening to his music. Before, during and after the concert he was chatty and interested in us and our guests. Nice conversations took place. Thank you for the lovely summer evening in our garden.

We had a wonderful garden concert with Charles. He is such an excellent musician, with a great voice and meaningful songs. Especially for our sofa concert newbies he was a perfect inspiration to join more concerts. Before and after the concert Charles and his wife were lovely guests and open to chat with everyone. Very easy, flexible and guest oriented (including our children) in his communication and the concert. We definitely look forward to hear or host him again. Was a pleasure!

Charles brings Magic to your place with his wonderful voice and gorgeous songs. We loved every second of the concert and enjoyed as well the after show time with him and his super cute wife. We would love to have a post corona concert indoor with him and hope that everyone will book Charles!!!! You won‘t regret it for sure!!! Thanks so much for the wonderful garden night.

It was a very special concert via Zoom in this stay @ home time. frankly zoom is not so perfect for a concert, but we had a nice evening, saw a few friends and saw and heard a wonderful musician by far. And one thing is certain, we absolutely need Charles for a real sofaconcert, if that is possible again. Hopefully soon...

With Charles we had a great start into the new Sofaconcerts year 2020.
With his warm yet powerful voice he presented us his older and new songs. Some of them have hardly been played at sofaconcerts. That MUST change, because they are just great!
The whole audience was thrilled and his nice smile and his lovely wife rounded off the evening alongside the music. It was wonderful to have you!

What a pleasant experience. Charles Cleyn is a very polite, open person and a humble musician. Not only during the show but before and after he was chatting and joking with my guests - he even made us accompanying some songs with percussions. His music is easy to listen to, it feels true in an unforced way and joining the performance connects people. Voice and guitar - that's it.

Charles was awesome. His music fits perfect into my garden stage. I am really happy that he was my first musician from Sofa-concert. All my neighbors, friends and collegues felt totally in love with him and his music. We had so much fun that night and thinking to organize a second concert with. I can absolutely recommend him and would love to stay in contact with him. You really made my day and just wanna say thank yor for such a perfect concert!!
