Meine Musik

A singer of potent songs, stunning harmonica player, guitarist and producer, Jez Hellard thrives on music of all stripes. His band, The Djukella Orchestra, play traditional and contemporary folk music, from Irish jigs and reels to bluegrass, tango, rhumba, funk and reggae. Djukella is the old Yugoslavian word for mongrel, and seems to suit their versatile hybrid sounds. Since 2005 Jez has played over 850 shows from New York to Istanbul, Stuttgart to Taipei.

Ich brauche

We need very little. An audience of music lovers, a bit of food and some drinks (although we love to get paid and sell CDs). We're happy to play amplified if that's what you like, but we prefer to play totally acoustic so it's just the vibration of wood and metal that we share with you.
